I know I am a little late on this one, but non-the-less it is a great video(s). This video will probably be utilized in training for years to come. The fire occurred at 600 Frank E. Rodgers Blvd. in Harrison.

Lt. Eric Wallace died late last night at a fire in the Knights of Columbus Hall in Bryan, Texas. The hall is located at the 1500 block of Groesbeck Dr. Firefighters were called out around 11:20 p.m. Friday.

The first responding firefighters entered the building but moments later, the incident commander determined it was unsafe and ordered the evacuation. As they were leaving, the building collapsed, briefly trapping five firefighters. They were injured but none had life-threatening injuries. They’ve been taken to Shock Trauma.

Two firefighters who entered the burning structure at 2249 W. Walnut St. suffered burns and were treated and released from St. Luke's Hospital-Allentown. Two other firefighters were injured when an exterior wall partially collapsed on them, and one firefighter slipped on the ice rushing to their aid.

Conditions quickly deteriorate and the last firefighter out is hit by a falling truss according to the video.

The Pinckneyville, Illinois Fire Chief's son, Firefighter Corey Shaw, was killed in a collapse at a multi-alarm fire Friday morning. The fire occured at an antique mall which spread to the Opera House next door. Corey, 22, was killed when operating on a ladder. The fire consumed the Pinckneyville Antique Mall and the Kunz Opera House.

At 6 minutes in, there is talk about backing out because they don't have water supply set up....and then there is radio traffic about needing EMS because they have a firefighter trapped and not out of the building yet.

A Muncie, Indiana Firefighter was killed today battling a church fire at the Tabernacle of Praise Church . Details are still coming in as to what exactly happened. What we do know is that a firefighter has been killed. It is another sad day in the fire service.

Incident Command, lack of communication, lack of doing a 360, and freelancing among other things that culminated with 7 firefighters injured. Some of those firefighters jumped from the second or third floor balconies.

“We got firemen unaccounted for,’’ according to Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford who was on the scene at 7:30 a.m. “Right now we’re working to get inside the building,’’ Langford said. As of 7:24 a.m. the alarm has been elevated to a 3-11 and an EMS Plan II, which automatically sends about ten ambulances to the scene, is in effect, Knight said. Knight said the building is 40 feet by 125 feet.
