Fire Critic An Unadulterated View of the Fire Service
Video above by: newsworking. Video info: The second alarm was transmitted Thursday January 23, 2014 at06:32 for 18 S. 2nd Street on a house fire. Coplay and Whitehall firefighters responded and found a working fire in the 2.5 story M/O/R.
4 lines were stretched and operating. 3 in the original fire building and one in exposure Bravo. The fire was mostly contained to 18 South 2nd Street.
Firefighters removed a cat from the building and it appeared to be okay.
Neighbors told NewsWorking that the resident was thawing pipes at3:30 in the morning with a heat gun and started a small fire in which he thought was extinguished.
