Fire Critic An Unadulterated View of the Fire Service

Video info: Engine 1 Engine 4 Rescue 1 Ladder 1 Ladder 10 and Battalion 1 were dispatched to a commercial structure fire in the 1800 block of High St. Medic 1 was in the area and advised there was flames showing through the roof and upgraded it to a working fire bringing Engine 2 Battalion 2 Medic 4 EMS 2 Rehab 1 and Car 2. Crews went to work using multiple master streams and had the fire under control in about an hour with no injuries.
PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Smoke poured from an empty commercial building in downtown Portsmouth Saturday night.
The fire sparked before 7 p.m. at a building located in the 1800 block of High Street, not far from I.C. Norcom High School.
