LODD – Quentin VFC (PA) Firefighter Bruce Sensenig Killed While Responding to Crash

Firefighter Bruce Sensenig, 20, of the Quentin Volunteer Fire Company was killed in an accident while responding POV to another accident.

CORNWALL, Pa. (WHTM) – Police say a 20-year-old volunteer firefighter was killed in a crash on Route 322 in Lebanon County while en route to the scene of another accident in the area.

Investigators said Quentin Volunteer Fire Company volunteer Bruce Sensenig was heading to the scene of a crash at Routes 72 and 117, called in at 6:21 p.m.

About three-quarters of a mile from the fire department, he crossed the center line on Route 322 eastbound and lost control of his car.

According to Cornwall Boro Police Chief Bruce Harris, Sensenig was broadsided by a van driving westbound at 6:29 p.m. The van hit his passenger side, and he died immediately upon impact.
