This is the Top Ten 2013 Male Firefighter Calendars. In all, there are about 17 calendars I found to share with you here. While these calendars can be huge fundraisers, producing these calendars must be A LOT of work! In addition to all of the production time, these firefighters put in A LOT of work getting their bodies in tip top shape to pose in front of the camera. Keep up the great work. Check out these calendars and support their cause(s).
If your department has a calendar, it helps if you send one to us for judging. Contact The Fire Critic at FireCritic@FireCritic.com

10. New Zealand Male Firefighters Calendar
#10 in 2012, #9 in 2011
Created by: New Zealand Firefighters Sports Association
Info: The Calendar has now been in production for 22 years, and has a well established and dedicated following, throughout its history. Every year Firefighters from around the country raise their hands to become part of what is now a New Zealand tradition. The Calendar allows firefighters the opportunity to proactively fundraise to assist them in their international sporting endeavours, as well as raise a substantial amount of money for our charities.
The Child Cancer Foundation has been the principal recipient of a donation for the past 20 years, and we have proudly donated to them over $500,000.
Created by: Kansas Firefighters Museum
Info: Many of you joined us in our journey two years ago as we produced the very first Kansas Firefighter Calendar benefitting Coats for Kids and the Kansas FIrefighters Museum.
With the birth of Coats for Kids, we discovered there was a silent group in our community with great needs – families who were experiencing layoffs and dramatic losses of income, who did not qualify for aid. We reached out to local school social workers, teachers, local support agencies and firefighters to help us identify kids. We referred them for our special “shopping day with a firefighter.” Last year we served more than 500 children in Kansas.

Created by: Luis Espinosa
Info: When firefighter Luis Espinosa attended the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) bi-annual convention in 1990, he was excited about networking with other firefighters and learning new techniques for rescuing members of the community who find themselves in danger. He had no idea he was about to be inspired to take lead on a new form of community service in South Florida. The spark which ignited the idea for one of the most successful charity firefighter calendars to date happened during an IAFF convention trade show. Members of the Houston and Vancouver Fire Departments were exhibiting their firefighters calendars, raising money for various charities.

We dedicate and volunteer our off-duty firefighting hours towards raising funds and awareness for the Calgary Firefighter’s Burn Treatment Centre at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta.
This fundraising ensures that money is available for upgrades, as necessary, to the highly specialized equipment. It also provides the burn unit health care team with opportunities to attend continuing education programs to remain current in new treatment techniques.
The money we donate is accumulated through various fundraisers, public and private donations. The various fundraisers include our annual “Ladies Night Out”, sales of the “Hotstuff Calendar”, corporate barbeques, golf tournaments, a celebrity baseball game and other special events.

Created by: Colorado Firefighters Calendar
Info: Founded in 2011, by a group of visionaries who wanted to do more for burn victims in the community and raise fire safety awareness, the Colorado Firefighter Calendar is comprised of a volunteer board of directors who plans and produces the calendar, calendar events and child safety educational programs. Firefighters from around the state volunteer time to raise funds, attend events, educate children on fire prevention and increase awareness for the Children’s Hospital Colorado Burn Center and other centers around Colorado.
