02-11-2017, Box 50-01: 45 South 5th Street in the city, at approximately 22:55, Shamokin Fire Bureau was dispatched for a reported apartment building fire. Calls to Northumberland County 911 reporting a fire in apartment #4. Deputy Chief Jeffery arrived about 2 minutes later reporting large apartment building smoking showing from the third floor, a second alarm was then transmitted.

Tuesday night firefighters were dispatched to Rockdale Road in North Whitehall for a reported structure fire. While enroute do to numerous calls a 2nd alarm was transmitted. Once on scene crews had a fully involved structure and requested multiple tankers to assist with water supply and put master streams in service.

So why is the science of Firefighter Safety Research Institute, NIST Fire Research Division, Kill the Flashover, and other organizations falling on deaf ears?

The Cleveland load (aka Metro load or Roundabout load) is handline load primarily used for high-rise applications from what I have found. Other applications would be when deploying a handline not pre-connected to the engine.

Helmet Cam footage from Champions Tanker 21 crew on a fire in Warren Township 3/17/2016. Tanker 21 was the second due company and initiated a blitz attack before interior ops began. After about 10 minutes of interior work, crews were pulled from the interior due to a partial collapse of the second floor. No one was home at the time, and no injuries were sustained.

Carbon County Stations 7, 1 and 2 were dispatched at 12:22 for an apartment building fire at 226 Delaware Avenue.
