Companies were dispatched to a reported fire in a Family Dollar Store at McNichols and Joseph Campau Street in Detroit. Chief 8 arrived and found smoke coming from the occupied commercial building, and requested two additional companies for RIT and manpower. Early on the chief ordered that no companies to enter the building or go on the roof due to the construction of the building and the large HVAC units on the roof.

Engine 353 & 331 - KFD Engines 221 & 215 and numerous tankers.

June 6th 2014 - 700 blk E Broadway in Vancouver, BC A parapet wall collapse minutes after a Capt reported it being imminent. No firefighter were injured.

This shop went on fire today , I was sitting in the cornernote restaurant in Dalkey opposite the building when I noticed smoke coming coming out of it , for some reason I was compelled to film it , I was absolutely amazed and horrified at how fast the fire destroyed the building, I am so sorry for the poor lady that lost her home, and I have gained a new found respect for fire , check those fire alarms my friends

Late this afternoon [5-7-14] the Ogilvie Fire Department responded to a fire in downtown Ogilvie at the former Used-a-Bit building on Hill Avenue. The Ogilvie fire department called Mora for mutual aid at approximately 4 p.m. Soon after, the building was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters spent the overnight hours battling a massive five-alarm fire in New Jersey that broke out in one building and quickly spread to four others. The incident happened on New York Avenue and 2nd Street in Union City.

A few tense moments as a firefighter is stranded on the roof at this commercial fire. The firefighter has to wait over 2 minutes for a ladder to be thrown for him to get off the roof. The audio in the video is in French. I am guessing this is in Canada.

The building at 333 Central Avenue, where the fire started, collapsed as firefighters battled the early morning blaze. It was later demolished. The building at 335 Central Ave. also suffered heavy damage and officials have not yet determined if the building must be demolished.

The 8 story building is well involved. The highrise is 114 years old and under renovation. Early collapse of the scaffolding caused an evacuation of all fire crews. The fire has gone to 3 alarms (which is rare according to fire department spokesman). The firefighters are currently working to protect exposures.
