Fire Critic An Unadulterated View of the Fire Service
I will be presenting at the North Carolina Society of Fire Rescue Instructors conference coming up May 27-30th. Come out and join me, learn, and catch the rest of the conference! The pre-conference is the 27th, I speak on the 28th. If you can’t make it and are in the area, stay tuned for a possible get-together on Thursday the 28th where we can all get together for a couple of drinks and tell lies stories!
My topic will be Fire Service Blogging. In the past, I have spoke a lot about social media, it will be refreshing to be speaking on blogging mainly. Sure, there will be some talk of social media as they kind of go hand-in-hand. Blogging, more importantly blogging in the fire service is a topic near and dear to my heart.
I have been blogging since 2005…that is 10 years of blogging on the fire service!
I have learned a lot in the past 10 years and can remember when I started out there were only a few other fire service blogs out there. It has been a lot of learning along the way and I have always shared what I have learned with others. I have seen so many blogs not make it and I have seen many other great ones make it! Plus, Im gonna get NCSFRI to fire up their FB page again…view it here!
