Fire truck responding to Henderson Co. crash rolls off mountain (Hendersonville, NC)

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said a fire truck was responding to a crash Wednesday morning when it rolled off a mountain.

Major Frank Stout said the rollover occurred about 8 a.m. inside Carriage Park, a Hendersonville mountain home community. Stout said the fire truck from Mountain Home Fire Department was driving on a very steep and icy road, which led to the truck rolling off the mountain. Officials said the truck nearly rolled into Lake Bowen.

Fire truck flips in Orange Co.

Firefighters answering a call Wednesday morning slid on ice in Orange County and flipped their truck onto its side.

Fire truck wrecks in Dyer County (Dyer County, TN)

A Millsfield fire truck was flipped in the air on Harness Road during a run for a house fire call, late Wednesday morning.

A Tennessee Highway Patrol report stated that the volunteer firefighter driver was on his way to a house fire on Highway 78, when he ran off the right side of Harness Road. The vehicle rolled over a single time, before it finally stopped on its wheels.
