Video by: BoxAlarmDetroit. Video info: At around 3:32PM on October 19th, two engine companies were disptached to Grand River and Chicago Avenue to check for a rekindle. First arriving engine found a fire in a commercial building extending to a second attached commercial building. Low water pressure and dangerous building conditions made an interior attack impossible, and the fire was fought defensively. Five engines and two platforms worked throughout the afternoon to bring the fire under control. The buildings, a church and medical clinic, collapsed and were a total loss.
