Fire Critic An Unadulterated View of the Fire Service
Idaho firefighters were met with an odd situation at this fire. The fire started in the back of the house and filled the basement with smoke. One of the residents got stuck attempting to get out of a small basement window. Firefighters worked to free him by cutting the house away from around him while other crews attacked the fire.

I tried to help this guy get out, but he was stuck and the place was burning. Watch IFFD cut him out from the basement window. The fire started in the back of the house but the basement was filled with smoke. The guy’s only escape was out the small basement window. He appeared to have only minor injuries. Great job Idaho Falls Fire Department!
