Video Coverage: Dozens of FDNY Firefighters Injured in 7 Alarm Brooklyn Apartment Fire

More than 200 firefighters battled a 7 alarm fire in Brooklyn today. At least two dozen firefighters were injured, most of them due to heat exhaustion.

The fire occurred at 665 New York Avenue in Brooklyn. The apartment building has approximately 100 units. It took firefighters almost 4 hours to control the blaze that is reported to have started by lightning. Dispatch is below as well.
