On Friday night at FDIC, we threw a party. Last year, Captain Wines and I threw a small party and we had about 150 people in attendance. This year, there were 850 people there. On Friday, Captain Wines and I spent the second day in the Black Diamond booth. Our relationship with Black Diamond goes back 4-5 years. BD was one of the first companies who came out to support FireCritic.com through advertising. They were there for the Blog of the Year contests, and many other give-aways along the way.

Helmet Cam: Mountain Creek, NC Mobile Home Fire

3-7-14 structure fire with my volunteer department, Mountain Creek, also had Candor and Ellerbe fire departments on the scene. upon arrival heavy smoke showing from the front and rear, made entry on the front with no progress, backed the line out made entry on the rear of structure and made a decent knock down in the main fire room.

Video: 2 Alarm Fire in Chester City, PA

City of Chester, Delaware County Pennsylvania, USA. Companies arrived to find fire in the 2nd floor rear of an occupied 2 1/2 story EOR. The fire extended into the attic and into the exposures attic. C-11 requested a 2nd alarm. No Injuries were reported and all searches were negative. The temp was 10 degrees F.
