The fire appeared to have started on the outside in the rear and then ran throughout the attic which was quickly piked and extinguished. Partial roof collapse before entry and a note that the weather head / power line was down before attack. 2 inch and a half hand lines, 2 engines and 6 firefighters on scene.

On Saturday, October 17th, Marshall Fire Protection District was dispatched to a structure fire with heavy smoke showing. Upon arrival, crews found a mobile home fully engulfed with a small shed also consumed with fire. Firefighters mounted an exterior attack with two 1 3/4" handlines and quickly knocked the bulk of the fire. The cause of the fire was believed to be a wood stove located directly adjacent to the mobile home.
