GARNER – A Wake County home was destroyed by fire shortly after 01:00 hours Sunday morning.
Firefighters from Garner, Eastern Wake and Raleigh arrived to find a well involved 1,374 square foot dwelling on Applecreek Court with heavy fire conditions in the garage and attic.
Garner Fire Engine 1 Captain Jason Deitch established Command and quickly determined that water supply issues and the location of the residence would complicate firefighting efforts.
