Now Available: Oren Fire Apparatus Photo Archive

A friend of mine, and Oren expert, Thomas Herman has just taken shipment of his brand new book “Oren Fire Apparatus Photo Archive“. Thomas is what I would call the resident expert on Oren’s. He has invested a large part of his life in studying, researching, and documenting Oren’s history.

You can now get your hands on Oren Fire Apparatus Photo Archive as it has just been published. This book promises numerous photos of Oren’s from across the land.

I may not know a lot about Oren’s, but I do get to occasionally drive one. My IAFF local 1132 owns one. As a matter of fact, I drove it in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade here in Roanoke. Roanoke, you may note, is the hometown for Oren.

I have met up with Thomas and let me just say that he knows a lot about Oren. He loves learning more as well. You can pretty much ask about any Oren truck and he will know the history on it!
