Willie and I are heading to Emmitsburg, MD Friday morning for the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend. If all goes well, we will be blogging while we are there. We will be hanging out with John Mitchell of Firefighter Netcast, Dave Statter, and many other friends from NFFF.

Firefighter Close Calls has the story on Roy Chelsen. He is a September 11th hero who risked his life to make it back to the North Tower amid bodies falling from the upper floors to warn other firefighters of the towers imminent collapse.
