MN8-Foxfire, the developer of breakthrough advanced photoluminescent technology products for firefighters, was named the 2013 Ohio Chamber of Commerce’s Excellence in Entrepreneurship award winner at the chamber’s annual meeting and legislative reception on April 10 in Columbus, OH.

This is especially for you West Coasters, firefighters who wear L.A. style helmets, and those who wear the "salad bowl" style helmets that are issued by their department.

The benefit was first and foremost about the Brotherhood in SD, and the firefighters having a good time. The byproduct of that was to raise money for the National Firefighters endowment and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Captain Wines (IronFiremen.com) and I just got back from an epic journey in South Dakota. Our trip consisted of flying into Rapid City, SD and traveling across the State to Sioux Falls. It culminated with the South Dakota Firefighters Benefit. Our journey took us to over a dozen firehouses across South Dakota. We also got to see Mt. Rushmore, corn, and soy beans...

We will be at the FOOLS Bash on Thursday night with the Firehouse Dolls models and plenty of FOOLS from all over. The event is being hosted by the Central Maryland FOOLS and Northern Virginia FOOLS. Wear your lid if you can. I will be there in a kilt and lid.

Yeah, they made a pot of coffee. It meant the world to me. One F$%#in cup of coffee was all I needed. If you remember, I have been kicking myself since our last trip for NOT drinking the cup of coffee I was offered. This time I drank it...and they opened up to us more as time went on.

I just got a new Phenix leather helmet and the tetrahedrons that came on it are terrible. I pulled them off and installed these new MN8 Illuminating and reflective tetrahedrons and it looks great.
