Short clips from a garage fire in Mardela on April 29th

On Saturday, at 1215 hours, Engines 7, 1, 9, and 2, Truck 1, Water Supply 5, and EMS Units were sent to 42278 Riva Ridge Road, for a reported house fire.

Hollywood Volunteers responded to a house fire Saturday. Crews arrived to find a one story single family with an attic fire. Crews advanced several lines and had the fire knocked down within 20 minutes.

PGFD Truck 832 was involved in a crash this morning. A civilian and a firefighter were injured. Both vehicles might be a total loss. The truck is a 2012 Pierce Arrow XT that cost $850,000.

At 0331 hours, Stations 2, 22, Charles 2, 5, Prince George 36, Charles Truck 3, Truck 7, Water Supply 5 and EMS Stations 29 and Charles 2 were alerted to 29815 Three Notch Road at the Southern States for the reported building fire.

I have been patiently waiting for the news of MDFireNews.com being online for a little while. A friend of mine has created the site and it promises to be pretty decent and full of firefighter coverage for the Maryland and DC Metro area. Alas, the web site went live a couple of days ago, the press release is below.
