On Thursday and Friday, we hung out in the Demers Ambulances booth. A lot of our friends caught up with us there. Demers wants to expand their branding throughout the fire-based EMS service in the U.S. and they picked us to help them do that. Who has heard of Demers Ambulances?

We are hitting the road in the morning. This year, Captain Wines and I are traveling with Andrew Catron (ModelCityFirefighter.com) and Preston Wiley (Valley of the FOOLS). We are leaving early in the morning.

3-7-14 structure fire with my volunteer department, Mountain Creek, also had Candor and Ellerbe fire departments on the scene. upon arrival heavy smoke showing from the front and rear, made entry on the front with no progress, backed the line out made entry on the rear of structure and made a decent knock down in the main fire room.

City of Chester, Delaware County Pennsylvania, USA. Companies arrived to find fire in the 2nd floor rear of an occupied 2 1/2 story EOR. The fire extended into the attic and into the exposures attic. C-11 requested a 2nd alarm. No Injuries were reported and all searches were negative. The temp was 10 degrees F.

At 19:44 Tuesday evening, Lehigh County Fire Radio dispatched Station 2 and North Catasauqua Engine 18 to the area of 12th and Bath Avenue on a house fire. Chief 2 signed on responding and was updated that an attached garage was on fire.

Hollywood Volunteers responded to a house fire Saturday. Crews arrived to find a one story single family with an attic fire. Crews advanced several lines and had the fire knocked down within 20 minutes.

A Columbia, MO Firefighter is dead after a second collapse at a MU apartment complex. Firefighters were in the process of evacuating the building due to a partial roof collapse when an exterior walkway collapsed and pinned the firefighter. The firefighter was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
