What has been interesting is how on Sunday, Rescuing Providence has narrowed the almost 150 vote lead by A Day in the Life of An Ambulance Driver to less than 100 votes. Last year, we saw the majority of the votes in the last two days. Anything can happen. It all depends on who is pulling for who and how many votes you can get (obviously).

The topic this month was Minimum Standards. I asked what should the minimum standards should be, why we should have them, and why we don't have them already.

More recently, this realization of being published in a trade magazine has morphed into wanting to have a published article in Fire Engineering magazine. After all, it is one of the few trade magazines I subscribe to. It is the cream of the crop if you ask me. To see my name attached to a print worthy article would be a huge accomplishment for me. Not in a "look at me I am the man" kinda way, merely a personal accomplishment.

This weeks Monday Morning Shoutout goes to "A Firefighters' Own Worst Enemy". The blog is a new one that recently captured my attention. I would categorize it as a hybrid training blog with some real World experience written in by the author.
