It looks like a dog and a cat were rescued during the fire. This is a great training video for changing smoke/fire conditions. This video has it all – a great vantage point, great lighting, a lot of exterior support helping interior crews, and Fat Pete on the roof…yeah, no shit…that is what is on the man’s turnout gear “Fat Pete”…check it out!
Video by: Ron Roberts. Video info: Chief 13 arrived on scene with smoke showing from a two story single family dwelling. Engine 13 dropped in and went in service with a 1″ 3/4 through the front door. Rescue 13 arrived and pulled a back up line also off Engine 13. Crews eventually pulled all three attack lines off E13 for aggressive interior attack. Engine 44 who were originally the RIT was placed in service to assist opening the roof for ventilation. Fire was placed under control in a little over a half an hour.
