Truck 411 of Fairfax County, VA Penn Daw station overturned this morning. 4 firefighters were injured.
Four firefighters were hurt Tuesday morning when a fire truck hit a utility pole in Alexandria. The accident happened on Beacon Hill Road at Anthony Street at about 4:30 a.m., and the crash brought down both the pole and power lines, leaving some customers in the area in the dark.
Fairfax County fire engine 411 and truck 411 were responding to an emergency call near Beacon Hill Road and Anthony Street at approximately 4:30 a.m. when truck 411 was involved in an accident, according to Fairfax County Fire Department Public Information Officer Capt. Bill Moreland.
