Video: Montreal Building Burns a 3rd Time in 2 Years. 2 Alarm Fire This Time

Video by: Fire Police Video. Video info: Last night just after midnight a 2 alarm fire broke out at the corner of St-Jacques and St-Sulpice in the old Montreal. A vacant 6 story building was fully involved from the ground floor to the roof. The blaze was a challenge to firefighters because of risks of collapsing. Firemen are still battling the blaze for the time being at 5am.

For the third time in two years a building on St. Jacques St. has been heavily damaged by fire.

The fire at 31 St. Jacques St. began shortly before midnight on one of the upper floors of the six-storey building.

Firefighters had difficulty getting into the building and had to battle the flames from outside.
