Middleport, N.Y.– A Hamlin Firefighter says he was simply in the right place at the right time. Douglas Mcpherson says he was “just driving by” when he spotted an apartment fire in Middleport, New York on Wednesday. He had a small ContourROAM camera with him, and strapped it on, before jumping out of his car to help fire crews.
