A fire west of Highway 99 displaced six people Monday afternoon and caused $115,000 in damages.
Fresno Fire Department responded to heavy smoke coming from a structure in the 4200 block of North Dante Avenue at 3:45 p.m. The structure sustained substantial damage, fire spokesman Koby Johns said. Firefighters controlled the fire in about 15 minutes.
