Fire Critic An Unadulterated View of the Fire Service
A Macon-Bibb County firefighter is in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia after being hit by a car while working an accident on I-75 north.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s office says it happened near Sardis Church Road around 9:40 this morning.
Sgt. Eric John and three others were working on an accident scene with an overturned car. They were wrapping up clearing the scene and John was talking with a deputy in the emergency lane, when a car swerved into the lane and struck John. (Continue reading)
