RE: Funeral Arrangements for Chief Scott Morrison, Knotts Island Volunteer Fire Department
Knotts Island, NC – Chief Scott Andrew Morrison, 44, of Knotts Island, NC passed away on March 3rd, 2013.
Born in Teaneck, NJ, Scott was the Fire Chief for Knotts Island Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Tidewater Fire Photography Association.
Chief Morrison is survived by his wife, Jessica Marie Morrison, a daughter, Kaitlyn, and a son, Sean, all of Knotts Island. He is also survived by his sister, Eileen Parkman of Jordan, NJ, two brothers, Joseph P. Morrison, Jr. of Orlando, FL and Michael J. Morrison of Cresskill, NJ, his mother, Gwen D. Morrison of Toms River, NJ and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph P. Morrison, Sr.
The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, 524 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322, 757-547-9511, Saturday March 9th from 7-9pm. A memorial service will be conducted at 2pm on Sunday March 10th. Location of the service will be Knotts Island Volunteer Fire Department, 327 Knotts Island Road, Knotts Island, NC 27950. Memorial service planning is ongoing. Additional information concerning directions to event and parking will be forthcoming. Due to limited access to Knotts Island, apparatus to be used will be selected prior to the memorial service and the participating departments notified.
