Why don’t we have any faith in congress? This is a perfect example of why we don’t trust our elected officials, why there is no one else to turn to, and why our job demands everything from us without knowing if we or our families will be taken care of.

I did not assist at ground zero. It was not an option for me. I remember 9/11, I was on the job, and I have read stories since of firefighters and other first responders suffering from many ailments since. Hell, our job gives us an increased chance at getting many types of cancers.
The James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act was supposed to tackle that issue…apparently it did not.
Is it too much to ask that cancer be included. How about you include it until you can prove otherwise. Actually, from the stories I don’t think you need a scientist to relate the two…
