A 3rd alarm was requested on arrival after companies found heavy fire on the 5th floor and attic of the 5 sty apartments over commercial building. A 4th, 5th and 6th alarms were requested a short time later.

First of all, you should not need accelerant to conduct a training burn. Secondly, you should not need to ADD more accelerant to a fire whether it is a training burn or not. All I can think is that the gear those guys are wearing is ruined. You can't just crawl through fuel like that and think that it will just wash out. Twice, the firefighter dumps fuel out of a bucket into the connex storage container.

Cee Lo Green, the singer and host of "The Voice", recently changed the lyrics to a popular hit and rewrote it for volunteer firefighters. Cee Lo Green's mother was a volunteer firefighter as well! The new song is titled "Thank You"...the interesting thing is that the original song title is "F$#k You". Kind of ironic...

Riverton, Pennsylvania firefighters were busy on Tuesday battling a two-alarm house fire. No one was injured. The occupants were able to escape the house fire with their pets unharmed.

St. Louis firefighters battled a house fire on Semple Avenue yesterday. The two story house is located in teh 1900 block of Semple. The house was determined to be unoccupied after a search by firefighters.

A fire in a historic house burned in Vancouver's West end on May 2nd. The house was one of Vancouver's last remaining historic wooden houses. The house was built in the 1920's and is right next to several taller buildings. The house was located at the corner of Beach Avenue and Bute Street.

Another thing I will note is how, under all the circumstances...the firefighters cutting on the roof also have to contend with the deck gun soaking them down. While the cool water might feel good because they are so close to the flames, I think those guys on that roof would much rather see the wet stuff go on the red stuff!

Firefighters were called this morning to the 1500 block of Lehigh Street for the reported smoke coming from a dwelling. Arriving crews found a 3 story double with heavy smoke and flames starting to vent from the house. First arriving crews made entry to the front door just as the first floor flashed over their heads, crews quickly knocked down the flames.

I am posting it because of phrases like "You ain't lived in Beloit very long!" and "...but I don't want that bitch to explode!" and the best... "Damn Terrorist Attack". There are some other jewels in there as well. Somebody please remix this one! I think you will have something if you do! If you remix it, I will post it!
