Beings that the military began the ritual of not only creating coins, but trading and "challenging" with them, it is only fitting that the fire service has taken the idea and run with it since there are so many veterans in the fire service.

Video: Large Mattress Factory Fire in Montreal

Last night at 5h45 pm a huge fire broke out in a commercial building on Ave Marco Polo in Montreal at a mattress enterprise. The blaze quickly intensified and a code red was given at 6h15 pm. Dozens of firemen battled the inferno during hours and were still on scene at 4h am this morning. A large smoke column could be seen from kilometers away on Highway 40 in the Rivières-des-Prairies area.

Shocking DashCam Video: TransAsia plane crashes in Taipei River. At Least 16 Rescued (3 Videos)

A TransAsia Airways flight with 58 on board, including five crew members, crash landed in a river in Taipei on Wednesday, various media have reported. According to Reuters quoting the government, at least two people were killed as the ATR-72 turboprop, which was en route from Taipei's Songshan Airport to the outlying island of Kinmen, crashed three minutes after takeoff at 10:45 a.m. local time.

Close Call Video: Firefighter Narrowly Misses Roof Collapse

At 5h pm yesterday evening a major fire broke at an occupied house and quickly spread through the building on Baffin Street at the corner of Bethoven in Brossard. The initial call to 911 was made as a residential alarm ringing at the address but multiple calls then followed, mentioning heavy smoke and flames showing. Upon arrival police officers witnessed dense smoke coming out of the house and firemen declared a working fire. Multiple residents were evacuated as well as visitors to the tenants. A kid was also treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation. Longueuil fire fighters battled the intense blaze offensively but later switched for a defensive strategy. As firemen were exiting a roof collapsed and one fire fighter narrowly escaped the debris as shown in the video. No other injury were reported and rescue teams are still on scene. The fire is still burning as of 7h20 and victims have been taken care of by red cross workers. Footage includes Longueuil Police SPAL scanner audio recording from the moment they first arrived on scene.

Video: Apartment Fire in Longueuil, Canada

Yesterday evening at 7h pm a fire broke out in the basement of a residential complex at 2451 Villiers Street in Longueuil. Multiple residents were evacuated from apartments on the ground floor and on the second floor. Heavy flame was at some point shooting out of a basement window. Heavy smoke was coming out of the basement and at least one person was transported into an ambulance for smoke inhalation. Many tenants were taken care of by the red cross.
