A Columbia, MO Firefighter is dead after a second collapse at a MU apartment complex. Firefighters were in the process of evacuating the building due to a partial roof collapse when an exterior walkway collapsed and pinned the firefighter. The firefighter was transported to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Dallas Firefighter William Scott Tanksley, 40, Died in the Line of Duty last night while operating on an icy overpass in Dallas, Texas. Tanksley was a 14 year veteran of the department. He leaves behind a wife and three children between the ages 4-12. Tanksley was stationed at firehouse #12.

Lt. Jeff Little died after being trapped in a house fire on Isabella Street early this morning. Firefighters were able to rescue Little from the house. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital. The fire has since been deemed arson.
