This was a house fire in Station 5’s first due at 17 W. Muriel St. Engine 5 got on scene in less than 2 minutes from dispatch. Pulled a 1.3/4″ line with 1″ tip smooth bore to Bravo side. Heavy fire and smoke showing on Alpha side. Aggressive interior attack done, entered structure Bravo side, knocked down living room. Transitioned to outside. Only way to knock down porch due to block wall and small doorway was transitional attack on AD corner from outside. Job well done by OFD. Fire was out in 7 minutes.
