Engine 38 went on location with heavy fire showing from the second floor and attic space of a 2.5 wood frame dwelling with exposure issues on the number 2 and number 4 side. Battalion Chief 44 asked for an extra 2 and 1 at the location while en route to the structure fire. Crews switched from interior firefighting to defensive operations, multiple hand lines and the tower ladder of Truck 13 to bring the fire under control.
