Four people, including two firefighters, were injured as a result of a five-alarm fire burning in San Francisco’s Mission District Thursday afternoon, a fire spokeswoman said.
The fire heavily damaged a two-story commercial building in San Francisco’s Mission District, enveloping the neighborhood in a massive plume of smoke, a fire department spokeswoman Mindy Talmadge said.
The fire was reported at 1:02 p.m. at 2632 Mission St., the address of Big House Inc. which is housed in a two-story commercial building filled with backpacks, t-shirts and other novelties.
