Fire Critic An Unadulterated View of the Fire Service

Video info: ST.Albans Town Vermont/On 03-09-2014 at approximately 09:35 am ST.Albans Town Fire Department was called out to a report of a chimney fire and it was upgrade to a structure fire a short time later.Upon arrival of ST.Albans Town Fire Department the flames were spreading across the roof.Fire appeared to have started near a wood stove and flames reached to the peak of the house and spread through the attic. A woman and her dog escaped the fire unharmed.Mutual aid was called in from ST.Albans City Swanton,Georgia Fire Departments.ST.Albans City set up a hydrant to fill tankers at the intersection of Lower Newton and Kellogg road.AmCare Ambulance Stood-by at the scene with two rigs.ST.Albans Police Department provided traffic and crowd control.There were no reported injuries.Firefighters were on the scene for several hours.
