Fire Critic An Unadulterated View of the Fire Service
Video by: High Def Helmet. Video info: Firefighters were called when local residence noted smoke coming from a nearby building. First arriving crews found a 2-Story commercial building that had been converted to apartment living space. With a heavy fire load & multiple access points crews made their way upstairs to locate the fire room. As interior crews worked toward the seat of the fire, exterior crews began deploying exposure lines and opening multiple access points. Watch as conditions change and multiple obstacles are overcome.
In all it took about 40 Firefighters 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control on a day where the heat index reached 105 degrees.
