Video: Darby, Delaware County, PA 3 Alarm Commercial Fire. 1 Firefighter, 2 Others Hurt

Video info: Engine and Pipeline 24 were special called to assist the Darby Fire Company #1 with a commercial building fire, 800 Block of Main St. Pipeline 24 provided water supply for ladder pipes, ground monitors and portable hydrants, while being fed from Engine 24 on a hydrant. Crews were originally dispatched for an automatic fire alarm, and arrived with thick smoke showing, from a 1 story, 75’X200′, block type construction, grocery store. Crews battled the fire from a defensive standpoint for the entire duration of 7 hours. Several major collapses did occur, no injuries to civilians. Video courtesy of Pipeline 24’s Nozzle man.
