Seminole Firefighters Headed out to Find One of Their Own. FF Jerry Perdomo Missing in Maine

I caught this story the other day…the plot thickened today.

Seminole County, Florida Firefighter Jerry Perdomo is missing in Maine. Perdomo,31, headed to Maine to meet a friend and was last seen on February 16th. When he failed to show up to work, his coworkers became worried. His vehicle was later found at a parking lot of a Bangor Wal Mart.

Missing Seminole Florida Firefighter Jerry Perdomo

In somewhat of a Hollywood twist, some Seminole Firefighters are headed to Maine to investigate for themselves. However, this is more like the truest example of what our Family and the Brotherhood is all about!

While it appears that there are plenty of details not being shared due to the investigation…I smell something fishy here. I don’t mean that Perdomo was doing anything illegal, but I have to wonder why a single firefighter would travel that many miles to visit a couple in Maine.

There are two people who are believed to have seen Perdomo before his disappearance. Bangor police are looking for boyfriend/girlfriend Daniel Porter, 24, and Cheyanne Nowak, 23 (pictured below). They are believed to be in a tan 2005 Hyundai Elantra with Maine temporary tag 729-257. If you have any information, call Bangor police at (207) 947-7382.

CFNews13.com:

“We don’t want to be a hindrance to law enforcement but we also have a need in our family. We’ve got a family member that’s missing,” explains Dave Williams, Vice President of the Seminole County Professional Firefighters.

As Perdomo’s coat hangs from the truck that carries his team around to save lives, his colleagues wear yellow ribbons to remember his life.
