Oklahoma Oil Rig Explosion and Fire, Fire Could Burn for Days

An oil rig has exploded and caught fire in the City of Watonga in Blaine County, Oklahoma. The fire could burn for days before the well is able to be plugged.

Continental Resources, an oil and gas company based in Enid, are on scene trying to extinguish the blaze and have taken over operations. They have called in an oilfield firefighting team from Wild Well Control. That team is on its way to the scene.
